GaBriella gets a quick flying lesson before heading off to Fairbanks, Alaska.

Eric and Anita

Eric and Anita
Eric and Anita went for a scenic ride with us over their neighborhood in Santa Barbara, California.

Rich

While visiting family in San Diego, California, I got to take my high school friend Rich up for a flight in Blue.

Chuck

Chuck
We took a trip to San Diego, California for a family visit. I got to fly with some high school friends and had a great time floating over my old stomping grounds. Here I am with Chuck, getting some air time.

Linda

Pictured below on the right is one of our local EAA friends, Linda, who flew us home from a fly-in breakfast. Women can fly just as well as guys, and sometimes better.

Jim

Jim
Jim and I were hangar-mates for many years. We had a great flight around the Rogue Valley. I 'd been hoping to get together and fly with Jim for over a year and finally had the chance. He's a heck of a nice guy and he let me keep Blue safe and dry in his beautiful hangar.

Charlie

Here's Charlie flying over his home town. He's heading us towards a practice area to do some steep turns and chandelles. He's a student right now and with just a little practice I'm sure he will make a great pilot.

Bruce and Gary

Bruce and Gary
Bruce and Gary (on the right) are friends of mine from high school. We buzzed up over Crater Lake at around 10,000' one warm afternoon for a nice view of the deepest lake in the USA.

Gary loved flying so much that he later learned to fly and bought his own airplane!

Don and Linda

Here are pilots Don and Linda who stepped out of their speedy RV6-A to see how fun an old tube & fabric plane can be.

Lyle and Pat

Lyle and Pat
Here are Lyle and Pat enjoying a scenic flight around Jacksonville, Oregon. We had a Young Eagles event this day and after the kids were gone I asked if any of the ground crew would like to go for a ride and guess what...they did! Kids don't get to have all the fun.

Oscar and Janna

Oscar and Janna
Our friends Oscar and Janna had a great flight in Blue. Oscar is an engineer, and has built his own airplane.

Sandra

Sandra
Sandra had a big smile when she flew in Blue.

Jim

Jim
We met our friend Jim at a small airport in Merlin, Oregon on a sunny morning and enjoyed a leisurely flight along the Rogue River. Jim is about six and a half feet tall and recently had his knee joints replaced, so it took him a little while to get through the small pilot's door. Once inside it was like coming home for him. Jim logged over a thousand flying hours in this area, but hadn't flown since the early 1980s when he sold his plane.

It's always a pleasure to see an experienced pilot dust off their wings. I'm really glad to be able to do things like this and hope some kid feels the same way when I need a little dusting.
