This is what the Oregon Cascade Range looks like in June. At least they've plowed the road, which is helpful if someone has an engine problem.

This is Silver Lake, Oregon. Yes, both planes purposely landed on this runway (that's a runway?) and both of them departed without damage. It is nice to have another plane along when you explore questionable landing sites.

The Oregon version of the Matterhorn is called Mount Theilsen. Its near Crater Lake, and is not very far from Medford.
